July Summer Update
With great weather comes great progress. We are talking about the progress on the development in Maple Ridge at Edge 3. And with the work moving along this quickly, we will be ready for occupancy before you know it.
So many great things are going on at the same time … Let me share some of that with you.
All things below are complete. That means the parkade is done. This includes areas like the mechanical room, electrical room and the hot water tanks are in as well.
On the outside: The siding is still in progress and nearing completion. It’s actually 90% completed. Once this lovely finish on the building is done, we will then see the landscapers move into full swing. That should happen at the beginning of August. This also means that our creative art pieces can be laid in their specific places in the landscaping.
On the inside: Now this is where it’s really coming together. And as in any new build, it all starts with the top floor … then works its way down to ground level.
Up on the fifth floor, countertops, tiles, cabinets and flooring are all in. It’s really quite amazing how much is already in those homes and how gorgeous it looks.
Next, on the fourth floor, the cabinets and tile are in. Flooring is going in today and the countertops this coming Monday.
On the third floor, we can see the cabinets starting to be installed and the tile has started as well.
